WFWA West Coast Regional conference

Courtyard Redwood City, Redwood City, CA

May 20, 2017

This conference is designed as a one-day event of networking, craft and the business of writing. We chose a central location in northern California for easy access from San Francisco, Palo Alto, San Jose and Oakland areas. Whether you plan to commute in just for the day, or stay overnight and socialize with other members on Friday evening and share a Sunday breakfast, we anticipate a productive event focused on learning and building new friendships.

"Ask the Pros" is an opportunity for you to sit with an agent or editor on a one-on-one basis for ten minutes. You can pitch a book, or ask questions about the writing process, your Work in Progress (WIP), querying an agent, etc. This is a fabulous chance to see if there is interest in your WIP and get feedback! Even if you aren’t ready to pitch your book, you can use your time to establish relationships and ask questions about your book, writing and publishing at no extra cost.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided on Saturday.

Note: Registration will open March 6 to members and non-members, and be capped at 80.
