2016 WFWA Retreat

2016 WFWA Retreat

Where:

Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town, Albuquerque, New Mexico

When:

September 21-24, 2016

What:

The WFWA Retreat will be a mix of craft and networking. Margie Lawson will lead two half-day workshops Thursday and Friday mornings. In the afternoon, attendees will have time to implement what they learned in the workshop during dedicated writing periods that will alternate with discussion groups.

Saturday will be a combination of writing and discussion topics.

There will be a mock reading with discussions and suggestions from seasoned authors on how to survive and succeed with readings and book clubs.

The retreat is a perfect opportunity to share ideas on writing, marketing, selling, and keeping yoursanity in-tact with like-minded writers; learn from a top-notch instructor and strengthen your WIP; and connect with other women’s fiction writers.

The hotel has a lovely patio that the WFWA retreat took over in 2015. Much writing was accomplished and many friendships were forged!
